(2) Thomas & Ann BOLT of Hatherleigh had Mary BOLT christened , Jan 8th, 1807, and Charlett BOLT christened , May 4th, 1810.
(3) Possible: Note there was another Elizabeth BOLT buried in Dolton church records for 29 Feb. 1860 @ 63. She was born 1797 based on that info.Who was she? Related to other Elizabeth? She was living in Burrleigh (?) at time of death? Census of 1851 has an Elizabeth (53) , wife of Richard Bolt, b. Honey Church. Living in Bondleigh. Richard was 54 and b. North Tauton, Note also, my 1861 census info. has Richard alone, so this confirms Elizabeth link & death.

Houses Lived In by Emanuel & Family in Merton area:
The 1832 birth record of daughter had them at Specott Downs in Merton.
The 1840 Property Map for Merton shows & lists Emanuel BOLT as living in Benstool plot 501, which includes House and Cottage. Also plot 502 Garden & 503 land plot. This was shared with John Stacey. Accounting has A=1 for all three. Likely all on one acre? P=10, L=1 S=16 & R=? d=8. The l is really a British money pound symbol, and likely indicates a rent paid. Think there was mention of the vicar collecting rents? All land was owned by Lord Clinton of Huish area. Origional house site was searched for using map info. No luck so far, but Merton locals on Internet will search. It could be in area now being strip mined for White Clay.

E. Stonehouse is now part of Plymouth, Devon, England
East_ Stonehouse, usually referred to simply as"Stonehouse". For the record, it was a fairly small town sandwiched between the town of Plymouth proper (to the E) and Stoke Damerel (to the W - which was the site of the Devonport Royal Navy dockyard, and
is now usually known as Devonport). Before Davenport it was know as the town of Docks.
The "Three towns" of Plymouth, Stonehouse and Devonport had grown together in the latter part of the 19th C, and became the City of Plymouth early this century.
Note the entire area of Merton, Huish & Dolton were owned and farmed by Lord Clinton ( most of it is still today!). Lord Clinton records from that period still exist in attic of main farm house adjacent to Huish church and could produce interesting information of how estate families lived then and who was doing what. Some of the Clinton collection was donated to the Exeter Devon Records Office.
