It droped a half a keeper once that I was lucky enough to fine in the valve train area before the other half went & destroyed the engine. It was only used as a street fun machine. I once blew the transmission out. I redesigned the shaft to use the Sagnaw Chevy Impalla sized larger bearings on the drive shaft. New shaft was machined in Springfield to my specs.

* Used to autocross ( obstacle course/ one car at a time/ pylons) my 1965 Corvair Corsa in Longmeadow & Riverside Park, Ma. Was competing with V8 Mustangs. Always better till Riverside and the locked spider Mustangs beat me. This was 1965-1967 period. Have still slides & movies of this.
